🌊 Big News! For the First Time Ever... 🏊♀️🏫
SCVUSD No. 35 is making a splash! We're excited to announce that swim lessons are coming to our district for the very first time this summer! 🎉
Starting June 2, children will have the opportunity to learn essential water safety skills and build confidence in the pool — all taught by certified instructors in a fun, supportive environment.
📍 Open to students aged 5 to 15
📅 Sessions start on June 2 and end on July 25
📝 Registration form will open on Friday, May 23 at 9 AM.
💲There is a $40 fee per child per class period
Please note that a form must be submitted for each individual child. If you have multiple children or wish for your child to attend more than one class, please submit a separate form for each student. The registration form will be found at the following link: https://forms.gle/RKAs7DYYAyr1DCBA8

This evening at our District Governing Board meeting, Mrs. Scanlan was recognized as one of 11 honored retirees. With 30 years of dedicated service as a kindergarten teacher at San Cayetano, and a total of 40 years in education, WOW! She has made a lasting impact on generations of Cheetahs. Congratulations, Mrs. Scanlan!

Happy Principal Appreciation Day!
Today, we celebrate the amazing leader of our Cheetah pack, our kind-hearted, respectful, and truly inspiring Principal Mrs. Renteria!
She leads with compassion, knows every face in our school community, and makes each of us feel seen and valued. Whether cheering us on in the halls or celebrating our successes, she always shows what it means to lead with heart.
To honor her today, our students proudly wore cheetah prints and spirit shirts, a special tribute to her favorite saying: “Your spots are showing!”
She shares those words when she sees students showing kindness or wearing their Cheetah pride, and today, our spots were everywhere!
Thank you for being the leader who brings out the best in all of us. Our pack is stronger because of you! 💛
