📚✨ The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming! ✨📚

We’re excited to announce that our Scholastic Book Fair will be open Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 31!

🕗 Shopping Times:
📖 Students can shop in the mornings, during their specials time, and after school each day.

This is a great opportunity for students to discover new books, grow their love of reading, and support our school library! 💛🐾

🎬 Lights, Camera, Coins! 💰

We’re kicking off our Coin War 2025! Bring in empty milk jugs to help collect coins and support local families this holiday season. 🐾October 20 through November 7!

Let’s see which grade level can bring in the most coins and make the biggest difference!
Together, we can shine bright and show what it means to be the true Stars of the Show! 🌟

This morning, San Cayetano Cheetahs gathered for a special ceremony to honor our local law enforcement agencies and their tremendous contributions to keeping our community safe. Students and staff came together to express gratitude for the daily sacrifices made by those who serve and protect. As a gesture of thanks, our students presented law enforcement individuals with hand-drawn cards and pictures filled with heartfelt messages.

The ceremony also served as a time of remembrance for the lives lost during the tragic events of September 11. Through reflection and unity, our school community honored the courage, resilience, and strength that continue to inspire us today.

🌊 Big News! For the First Time Ever... 🏊‍♀️🏫 SCVUSD No. 35 is making a splash! We're excited to announce that swim lessons are coming to our district for the very first time this summer! 🎉 Starting June 2, children will have the opportunity to learn essential water safety skills and build confidence in the pool — all taught by certified instructors in a fun, supportive environment. 📍 Open to students aged 5 to 15 📅 Sessions start on June 2 and end on July 25 📝 Registration form will open on Friday, May 23 at 9 AM. 💲There is a $40 fee per child per class period Please note that a form must be submitted for each individual child. If you have multiple children or wish for your child to attend more than one class, please submit a separate form for each student. This evening at our District Governing Board meeting, Mrs. Scanlan was recognized as one of 11 honored retirees. With 30 years of dedicated service as a kindergarten teacher at San Cayetano, and a total of 40 years in education, WOW! She has made a lasting impact on generations of Cheetahs. Congratulations, Mrs. Scanlan!
